Why vote for the Liberal Democrats?
So, why should you vote for the Liberal Democrats in this year’s mock election?
We need to stop Brexit, and now. The vote in 2016 to decide whether we remained or not was plagued by false information and false promises. Saving money if we remain, the 50 billion pound bonus will be put straight into public services and stopping inequality in our country.
The climate is, above all, the world’s biggest problem. By switching to more economically friendly and renewable sources, the Liberal Democrats aim to have 80% of the United Kingdom’s power supplied by renewable sources.
Giving every child the best start in life is imperative for the future of Britain and its economy. By recruiting 20,000 more teachers and injecting £10 billion into the school system, we will bring schools back and stop them from disappearing and being underfunded, as they are today.
Building a fairer economy is also crucial to Britain’s future, and by providing free childcare from 9 months and giving every adult £10,000 to spend on skills and training throughout their lives, we will certainly make Britain see a brighter and stronger future.
Finally, transforming our mental health services is essential for our modern day and they are in great need of regeneration. By injecting money into these services, and by treating mental health issues as urgently as physical health issues, our country will become even stronger, as we look to change the path of Britain and its future.
Vote Liberal Democrat’s on the 12th of December, to change the direction of Britain for the better.
