Hooray! It's a summer holiday!
Eryn McDowell provides us with ways to spend the glorious days of Summer.
There are only a few weeks left of school before the holidays, so summer is just around the corner! With multiple weeks off school, you might be wondering how to spend your time. As restrictions slowly lift, if we come out of lockdown as planned, you can book places to go to, and this doesn’t need to be abroad because we have lots of attractions and beautiful locations in England: nice beaches, lovely towns and villages, and beautiful countryside. You can explore countryside near you by going camping or hiking. Why not try camping in your back garden with some friends? Gather your sleeping bags, pillows, and don’t forget your favourite treats, too. Another way to spend the summer is by having a staycation and this is always an option, no matter what the restrictions. |
If you are planning on having a staycation, you could read some books, have a water fight with your family, go for a walk or cycle near your house, have a picnic, or sunbathe in your garden if the sun is out.
Finally, this summer, don’t feel like you have to be doing something exotic to have a good time. Simply just relaxing and doing whatever feels right for you is the key to having a great summer break.
