Hi everyone. Our names are Ozzy and Thomas and we're both Labradors.
We can usually be found foraging through the kitchen bin or sitting next to our two year old owner at dinner time as we wait for her to share her food with us (although for some reason it's normally only vegetables!?)
Some of our prouder achievements include eating a month's worth of Dentastix in just 15 minutes (that's 56...who needs a dentist?), pinching a whole cooked chicken off the worktop for our own Sunday lunch and perhaps most impressively, ripping the oven door right off it's hinges to get to those sweet, sweet meat juices.
You might be reading this and thinking that we're only interested in food but don't think we won't have a go at the inedible stuff too: wax candles, socks, fluffy unicorns, kids’ coursework. We could go on. Nothing's safe.
Despite all of this, we are very much loved and would do anything to protect our owners, particularly the smallest small one. We love a lap-cuddle so everyone's welcome but a word of warning - we'd recommend you take the head-end: there's an effect to having a diet like ours you know!
Mr B Pollard
This is Buzzy. He has recently had his first birthday. His understanding of vocabulary is ever improving. He guarantees a head tilt for the words breakfast, sausages, dinner, walk and treat. His favourite game is “rip the body parts of any soft toy”. He is exceptionally loving and feels most at home snuggled on a family members lap. He has championed his human sisters fear of dogs. He likes the outdoors and has recently adopted the title of “king of the cuckoo trail” with his determination to growl loudly at other male dogs! Ms Davis
Here is my beloved black Labrador, Bess, who sadly died a year ago after reaching the grand age of fourteen and a half! She was the most excellent four-legged friend and companion whose unconditional love knew no bounds. Whatever time of day or night I came in, she would always greet me with a grin and a tail that wagged so much her whole bottom would twist from side to side. She loved chasing and chewing sticks, swimming in the sea, cuddles on the sofa, mini cheddars- any food in fact except mushrooms! I spent one long Friday night at the vets waiting for her to sick up half a Colin the Caterpillar cake that she had gobbled down from my bag; she was your typical greedy lab. I miss her terribly but I am on the waiting list for another black Labrador puppy who I have already named Willow - as in my opinion… a house without a dog (although a lot cleaner) is not a home! Ms O'Connell
Hi, our names are April, aged 3, and Skyler, aged 2. We are sisters and the naughtiest cocker spaniels our owner knows. We love swimming in the muddiest ponds we can find, rolling in things we think smell great but our owner says are "just horrible", and digging under the garden fence. April doesn't like the sea as much as Skyler, but that is because it isn't as dirty as the points in Battle Wood. We also like howling together, especially when our owner is in a Teams lesson, which is why she has to switch the mic off.... we think it sounds better than her singing, but she disagrees.

My name is Jack and I am 7 years old. I have enjoyed lockdown life as I have loved having my family around me all the time; although the three year old boy of the family can be a bit irritating as he tries to sit on me like I’m horse. My family keep complaining about my snoring. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it; it shows how relaxed I am! Apparently, I snored all through one of my owners’ live lessons last week! It was her fault for taking me on a long walk! I don’t like water and I will actively avoid it by refusing to walk in it but I do adore sunbathing to the point where I am panting so much I make my owners think I am about to die! #bulldoglife

Hello there! My name’s Penny and my favourite things to do are sleep, bark unnecessarily, and eat until I am too heavy to hold for too long. After a busy week of relaxing and getting the attention I deserve, I like to lay in the sun or take my humans for a walk, where I deter all potential danger with my intimidating stance and bark. When we return home my humans always insist on washing away the carefully collected twigs and minerals I bring home on my fur. As their punishment, I make it the most difficult thing ever. After a lot of hard work, I am disgustingly clean, so I rub my face on every surface I can find, including the floor and everything on it. I normally want to go back outside at this point, but my humans never let me. I wonder why… As a sort of negotiation after the battle in the bath, I allow my humans to dry me with the hairdryer, settling down and getting my beauty sleep for a busy tomorrow.

Hi, I'm Benji. I'm a three-month-old cockerpoo and what I like best in the world is stealing socks and dancing in a circle when I think it's time for a meal. My favourite place in the world is anybody's lap. I don't like rain. I love biscuits. I'm also spectacularly useless at holding my bladder when I'm excited. Sometimes, just to entertain my owner, I like to poo on the floor while she's giving a live lesson on Teams... #lockdown life.... Ms Savage
Hi, I’m Ruby and I’m a black Labrador! I love being a big sister to two boys; they drop their food on the floor for me so I always get lots of snacks! Mum doesn’t mind because then she doesn’t have to tidy up as much. I like to rest my head on the sofa as a big hint to be allowed to come up for cuddles. This usually works, especially if I huff. My favourite place is the beach! I like to chase stones into the sea and I’m always surprised by how cold and wet it is. Ms Collett
I'm Bolt, a four year old Cockerpoo. Like my big brother, my favourite toy is my ball which I love to play fetch with. My main duty at home is dish cleaner and I will get right inside the dishwasher to pre-clean given any opportunity. I'm also a massive foodie and will eat absolutely anything in sight - even whole socks given a chance!
Ms Hawkley
I'm Buddy, an eight yearold Basset x German Shepherd. I was rescued from Raystede when I was 18 months old. I get very frightened of dogs I don't know. When out and about, although my bark is so loud, everyone avoids us! I prefer the safety of my home and I love to play with my ball in the garden. I adore people and enjoy nothing more than snuggling up with my owners. Ms Hawkley

Hi, I’m Rooney. I’m a Sprollie (Springer Spaniel x Collie) and I am just about to turn 15. I have got to that time of life where I enjoy all of the fine things such as my morning walk, afternoon naps, eating anything that falls on the floor (fair game I say) and snoring as loud as possible. My favourite day of the week is Sunday; I walk on the downs in the morning then sleep all day and get treated to a Sunday dinner (what a life!). My funniest moment - I was around 5 when we walked past a burger van at an event. There were two police officers standing next to the burger van and they started to nudge each other and look in my direction. Yes... food on the floor... burger or bread bun? Burger or bread bun? You guessed it, I opted for the bun. I don’t know what the two police officers found so funny about my choice of food! Bread bun wins every time!

Hi, my name is Franklin D Roosevelt, commonly known as Frankie. I am a five year old black Pug with a distinctive curly tail and beautiful wrinkles. My only downside is my extremely long tongue which hangs out of my mouth but is good for licking. I love lots of cuddles and attention at all times. My ultimate favourite pastime is sleeping anywhere other than my basket; the sofa is my best place where I snuggle up with my mum's favourite cushions and throws which I know is not allowed but I know if I give her my famous droopy, sad-eyed look she gives in. I hate going for walks and playing ball - it’s too much effort for me. What I do enjoy is eating lots of FOOD which is my favourite passion, especially cheese! As soon as I hear that package rustling and the fridge door opening, I am there!

Hi, I'm Tess. I am a four year old Border Collie. I go to work most days on the farm and I am very good at moving sheep! Although I go to work, I also love being at home and I have my family wrapped round my paw. I wasn't sure how I felt about my human brother joining us last year, but I have decided we are now best friends... he gives me treats!! Everyone who meets me says I am particularly lovely. I usually am, but I hate the hoover and I will attack it before it is even switched on; I'm pretty sure it's a monster!
Ms Russell
Hi my name is Diesel and I have just had my first birthday. I have been in my new home for 2 months now and as you can see have settled in to relaxing and TV watching . Tilly, Toby and Teddy, who I understand are cats, are still refusing to make friends however much I try to play and communicate. Lockdown has been amazing as the local golf course has been out of play which means I have free run and fun in the sand pits ! I am great at the recall game, especially when frankfurters are involved.

Hi, I'm Max. I'm a four-year-old labrador cross whose life has recently been turned upside down by an invading cockerpoo. I steal food at any opportunity. Whole lemon drizzle cakes from benevolent grandmothers are my particular favourite. I bark extremely loudly at marauding postmen and have a sixth-sense for detecting the sound of someone loading a dishwasher, even if I'm outside. I have big soppy eyes and very soft ears but I will kill you if you interrupt me eating my dinner. Ms Savage
