Hi, I'm Luna. I am three years old and I love to sleep in the most random places, even if it means being in the way. My favourite thing is to have my belly rubbed and to chase absolutely anything that flies. My miaow is, apparently, rather whiny but I can also do a world-class purr and excellent parrot impressions by sitting on my human's shoulder.

My name is Bo, I am a 12 year old Persian who struggles with my identity as a cat, feeling like I was in fact a dog in my past life. From my haunched stance to my neediness and love of a tear up through the cat flap, I feel more dog. Constantly ravenous, I am either asleep, kneading someone’s lap or vociferously petitioning for food. I have no shame so I will eat more than I need, vomit the barely digested contents and return with an air of surprise. Given half a chance by the humans I live with, I’ll eat my own sick later, saving the humans the trouble of cleaning it up. I know I am pretty so I ensure I curl up and look my best visually when engaging in my major pastime of sleeping.

Hi, my name is Nala. I am a three year old house cat that is terrified of the hoover. I love a cuddle but absolutely only on my terms, and I often snuggle under the duvet when my human isn't around to cuddle me. Also, I'm pretty certain I was supposed to be born a dog because I chase my tail and I love to play fetch!

My name is Nefi and I am a 6 year old Tabby whom the vet described as ‘a killing machine’ because I have such an impressive muscle enriched physique - climbing several feet up branchless trees is a cinch. I love to catch all sorts of cute critters and torture them, run around the house manically at 10am (sometimes MUCH earlier) for no reason and annoy my grumpy housemate Bo. I went missing for a few weeks in 2019, and since returning to my current home I’ve gotten nicely comely and chubby, so when I sit on the humans they feel like they’re being slowly suffocated. My purr is off the scale, hence my nickname of ‘Super Purry Animal’

Hello, my name is Pixie and I came to live with my new family from an animal shelter just before lockdown 2. I love lots of things about my new home including sleeping on laps, waking my humans up in the middle of the night when I'm hungry, scratching the furniture and eating the houseplants, but best of all I love to sit in boxes! Hi, I’m Greebo. I’m a four year old black and white tuxedo cat named after a murderous cat from a Terry Pratchett book. My human is beginning to realise that this was probably a bad idea. I love food, any food, and can hear the food drawer being opened from three gardens away. I love sleeping in front of the fire and waking my human up by aggressively licking her face and yelling whenever I think it might possibly be breakfast time. I have just recently discovered the joy of laps. My brother isn’t happy about it.
I’m Aslan. I’m eight and until four years ago I lived a blissful life with my humans being a very spoiled only child. Then they brought home a kitten and I’ve been trying to get rid of him ever since. My favourite place in the world is on a lap, anyone’s lap, or the heated floor in the bathroom. I love nothing more than being thrown up in the air and doing somersaults. I’m quite a soppy creature, but don’t tell anyone. My other favourite thing is bringing in live mice at 3am and letting them run around the dining room until they hide under the dresser. Then I wait until my human is in a live meeting to catch them and kill them, quite violently. Ms Stone
Hi, my name is Jet and I am nine years young. My family fell in love with me at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare in February 2020. Unfortunately, the first lockdown started part way through my adoption and we all feared I’d be stuck in the cattery for months! Thankfully, I arrived for a socially-distanced hand-over at the end of March and have been LIVING MY BEST LIFE SINCE! I am not a lap cat but I do love to be fussed on my terms and I never, ever turn down TREAT TIME! Ms Wells
