For many people, everything in life leads up to settling down and starting a family. However, parenthood and the months leading up to it can be one of the greatest struggles people go through. Pregnant women can experience raging hormones, vicious aches and pains, and what feels like endless counting down until the day it's all over. Nonetheless, most women will have a partner to help them through all the trials and tribulations. When the baby is born, the mother is entitled to one year off for maternity leave, enabling her to look after the child and develop important bonds.
